Aubrey's first round of golf

So, a few weekends ago we took Aubrey for her first trip to the golf course. She had a blast, Skip says we have to start her young! It really was a great day. She is such a happy baby we can take her anywhere and she just has fun! Skip shot the second best round of golf of his life, he was a happy camper!

Splish, Splash I was taking a bath.....

Bath time is one of Aubrey's favorite things, next to eating! She has always loved to take a bath. She kicks water up to the ceiling and plays with her toys... it's so much fun!

I just thought this would make everyone smile :) She is almost FIVE months old and I can't believe it! She is just the sweetest thing in the world!

Four month old check-up today...

So, today was Aubrey's four month check-up! Yes, she had to get shots... and yes, I wanted to smack the lady who do it! Skip always comes to each Dr. visit, he is the one to hold her when the mean lady sticks her little legs :( The doctor said she was just perfect! She weighed 15 pounds (83%) and was 25 inches long (75%). He also said that we could start introducing single veggies and fruits to her too. We are supposed to start with two tablespoons per day of one veggie. So, tonight was green bean night! It was really funny to watch her eat food and boy was she ready! For the past few weeks she has been grunting at our food and drooling while we eat! Here is a picture for you of green beans round one! Enjoy!

My baby is getting big.....

Last night, I was finishing dinner and Aubrey started to get hungry while Skip was playing with her. I didn't have time to stop and feed her so I thought I would make her a bottle. Now, let me preface this by saying that she hardly ever gets a bottle. So, Skip was giving her a bottle and he wasn't paying attention to what he was doing, all of a sudden he looked down and realized that Aubrey was holding her bottle all by herself drinking it!!! Crazy, my little baby is getting big :( So, the rest of the time she held it all by herself until it was all gone!

3 month old baby

We had my father-in-law, James, take some pictures of Aubrey and us yesterday! They all turned out great, these are just a preview of some of them. We had a great time. We went downtown Clarksville to take the pictures, the weather was AMAZING! She is getting so big now and we can't believe how fast she is growing up and changing. Hope everyone has a great week, we will be getting ready for Easter next weekend. Aubrey's easter bow came in today , it is so cute...looks great with her dress. I will put up more pictures this week :)

It's been a while....

I have been a busy mom this past week. Skip has been working late nights for the last two weeks. Most nights he has worked until 10 pm or midnight. Aubrey and I have just been hanging out while Daddy has been making money so that I can be at home with my little girl. There is nothing better than being able to be with my baby! She really is growing fast! Now she talks NON STOP!!! It is the funniest thing, I hope to get a video soon. I can't take her anywhere that you are supposed to be quiet because she doesn't know how :) We have been feeding her rice cereal now. Sometimes by spoon and some in a bottle right before bed. The first night she drank 2 ounces of formula mixed with 1 tsp rice cereal and then nursed...are you ready for this....she slept from 10pm to 4am! What a miracle. Well don't get too excited, it was short lived. The next few nights she went back to her normal routine of waking every two hours to nurse. She is such a little piggy! Oh well, I guess I will sleep when she is 18 and goes to college!

Baby gifts

So, my friend is adopting a baby! She is getting him next week and we are all so excited! It's short notice, she just found out last friday that there was a beautiful baby boy for them! Here are a few of the things that I made for him today. Four paci-clips and a blanket :) I can't wait to meet him! Aubrey will have a little buddy her age!

Aubrey's first smile caught on camera!

This morning while I was cooking breakfast I heard Skip and Aubrey talking and laughing in the living room. I went to get my camera because it was just too cute, everytime he talked to her she would smile. I caught one on camera. ENJOY! :)

Aubrey meets Papa Mike!

Aubrey and Papa Mike finally met on 2/27! We went to pick him up from the airport, and they met at baggage claim! She loves her Papa Mike :) The other picture is breakfast at Nana and Papa Mike's house the other morning.

The Adventures of the Bumbo seat

My little baby is now strong enough to enjoy playing in her Bumbo seat! She loves it. It's great for strengthening her neck and back muscles as she learns to sit up on her own. I love to watch her play in it. I can't believe she is now THREE months old.

More SNOW!!

Here is what it looked like outside of my house this morning! It is 22 degrees and nothing but ice under all that snow. I am at home with Aubrey but Skip had to brave the roads and head to work. Happy Snow Day again!
