SHE'S HERE!

Hey everyone!
Sorry it has taken so long to update everyone. Aubrey Paige Burchett is finally here! She was born December 3rd at 10:54 am, she was 7 pounds 14 ounces and 20.5 inches long. On wednesday I started having contractions, mom came to get me and we went to IHOP for breakfast with granny. After that we went shopping and walked for hours. At that point my contractions were about every 10-15 minutes. Then, at 4:30 we went to starbucks and at 5:00 I had an appointment to get my hair cut, by this time my contractions were about every 7-9 minutes apart. I came home and made dinner, bathed all three of my dogs and by 8:30 I was having contractions every 5-7 minutes. By midnight I was having contractions every 5 minutes consistantly and I knew it was time to get to the hospital. We arrived and I was admited at about 12:50 am. I got my epidural at about 1:30, thank goodness! After that it was all downhill ...I started pushing at 10:25 am and she was born at 10:54 am! I had the easiest labor and delivery, it was a piece of cake! We stayed at the hospital until saturday, then we brought our baby girl home! She is beautiful and perfect in every way! We can't wait for everyone to meet her!

  2. "[GIVING BIRTH TO 7 POUND BABY] was a piece of cake!" - Amy Burchett. Were you awake when you were giving birth?

This could be trouble- if it is so easy, you are going to want to have one all the time! (And some people might not be ready to follow through with their plans to match a Burchett baby for a Shorter baby).

She is awful cute! (I guess it is a good thing you didn't decide to name her Tiger after all).
